Sammi Rutschman, Graduate Counseling Intern
I'm a full-time Masters level counseling student at Angelo State University with decades of experience mentoring youth, women, couples, and fellow foster and adoptive parents. Through this work, I've helped individuals and families navigating many of life’s most difficult challenges.
I believe healing doesn’t come from avoiding the hard parts of our stories, but from approaching them with care, curiosity, and support. When we feel safe enough to gently explore our difficult experiences, we often discover insights that foster healing, resilience, and meaningful change.
In counseling, reflection on these experiences can be a powerful tool for growth, but this process can feel intimidating when working through painful or triggering memories.
I am honored to offer you a supportive, safe, judgment-free space to reflect, explore and grow.
