The Forward Foundation builds volunteer coaching ministries in  churches and Christian nonprofits so more people can receive Christ-centered care before their problems become crises. Our accredited, faith-based, research supported training course teaches ordinary believers to confidently come alongside people who are struggling.

Donations allow us to make the training and ongoing support free for volunteers so cost isn't a barrier to serving or receiving help.

A component of our mission is to create a Christian care network across our community where churches, coaches, counselors, and nonprofits work together instead of in isolation. When someone needs help, there is a clear pathway - from encouragement and coaching to professional counseling to connection to church or nonprofit resources when needed.

If a referral to clinical care is needed, our team of licensed counselors accept most insurance to help make care more affordable.

When a referral to practical or spiritual care is needed, we refer to churches and non-profits throughout the Austin metro and beyond.

Please join us in supporting the mental health and wellness of others by contributing to the work of The Forward Foundation. We are a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, and all donations are tax deductible.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For just as the sufferings of Christ are ours in abundance, so also our comfort is abundant through Christ.”

-2 Corinthians 1:3-5
