Going it alone has potential for financial upside, but it means doing a lot more than just meeting with clients. And as a solo practitioner, it's all up to you: business plan, legal, accounting, insurance, marketing, office space rental, compliance, decisions and more decisions! While necessary, many therapists find these aspects of running a practice the part they least enjoy or feel called to.
The Forward Foundation, as a practice of Christian mental health professionals, can help with all this and more! Let us take care of the business parts of the practice so you can focus on the parts you enjoy and excel in.
In addition to that, with us you will on a team that sees itself as part of the larger body of Christ, and seeks to make a bigger impact by operating that way. We provide therapy for our clients, but also equip the larger body with skills that enable them to provide more and better leadership, care and support to those they serve. We are looking for clinicians who:
- Want to build and maintain a full time caseload of at least 15 clients per week
- Are wholeheartedly motivated to use their gifting to live out Eph 4:11-13
- Enjoy building a collaborative practice with community partnerships
- Have experience as staff or lay leader in a church, non-profit, mission driven business, or missions agency
- Have experience as a teacher or trainer
- Have specialised certifications, e.g. EMDR or other trauma therapy, Gottman, DBT, 12-step work, Motivational Interviewing, CBT
Compensation
- We offer a 70/30 split when for 15+ client hrs wk
- Commission earned on training services
- W2 status- save on taxes!
- Additional benefits such as medical and retirement will be offered as we grow
Required credentials and qualifications
- Minimum of a Master’s degree in Counseling or related field
- Fully licensed mental health practitioner in the State of Texas (LPC, LCSW, LMFT)
