I was a single parent. I walked the road and made plenty of mistakes. Looking back, I've wondered… if I'd had someone to walk alongside me during my struggles and transitions, would I have parented differently? Would I have been smarter dating? Would I have known and lived out my faith and values earlier in life?
You're reading this because you're looking for wisdom, help, or want to make a change. I've been there. My experiences as a single parent have given me a deep calling and love for other single parents.
For me, developing my faith was essential in helping me work through my challenges. God has been faithful and redemptive over time to turn my struggles into victories and give me strength where previously I only felt weakness. I know first-hand that hope is real. Change and growth are possible!
