The Forward Foundation (501c3) is a faith-based, non-profit counseling center on a mission to help improve the quality of people’s lives. At the same time, we’re also expanding access to life-changing care by equipping churches, non-profits, missions teams, and individuals to start their own internal or community-based coaching service.
We are looking for fully licensed Texas mental health professionals (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) to join our team.

The successful candidate will:
- Be a competent, appropriately licensed, faith-based, research-informed clinician who is excited about learning and growing
- Be excited about helping to grow the practice and your caseload through networking opportunities
- Enjoy working with other counselors, coaches, churches, and missionary organizations
- Enjoy being part of a team
Not required, but a plus:
- Experience with coaching
- Experience as a teacher or trainer
- Potential interest in traveling as a coach trainer
- Certification in particular therapeutic approaches (Play Therapy, Art Therapy, EMDR, Gottman, DBT, etc.)
- Experience on a church staff, non-profit staff, or missions-related work
- Leadership experience
Compensation
- Hourly pay based on client work – work as much or as little as you want
- Up to $84/hour starting
- Commission earned on coach training services
- Opportunities to earn more through group events
Required credentials and qualifications
- Minimum of a Master’s degree in Counseling or related field
- Fully licensed mental health practitioner in the State of Texas (LPC, LCDC, LCSW, LMFT) or related field
Part-time or full-time
- This can be a full- or part-time position
Work location
- Virtual and in-person if in Cedar Park area
- Opportunities for travel if you become a coach trainer
